Rare stackable picnic set from the avant-garde selection of Villeroy & Boch, consisting of large serving dishes, large plates, side plates, a jug and mugs. The set is designed in such a way that its elements can be removed to take care of a smaller company, while retaining its shape and strength. The 1972 design of La Bomba, made of press-shaped melamine-formaldehyde, was a further development of the 'La Boule' set by the same designers, Helen von Boch and Federigo Fabbrini. This set was supposed to include a cutlery set, which is missing in the set here offered. This piece comes in the originally dealt string bag.
