In 1958 he obtained his art school diploma. He was a pupil of Mario Mafài. From 1962 he began exhibiting, participating both to collective and solo exhibitions. Among the first ones is « Natura Morta Della pittura contemporanea » (Roma, galleria Lo Scalino, 1966) and the participation in the Roman Quadriennale of 1967, as well as in « Premio Anxur » of Terracina in 1968, in which he obtained the first prize and the gold medal. Among the solo exhibitions are that at Galleria Chardin in Paris (1963); «Festival dei due mondi», Spoleto (1965), Centro « C. Pisacane » in Rome (1967) and Condotti Street gallery in Rome (1968).
