The Ford Anglia is seen as the "flying car" in one of the Harry Potter films and has a very distinctive sloping rear window. This Anglia from 1964 is was completely stripped back and rebuilt except for the interior. Parts needing replacement were all renewed, including brakes, brake line, rubbers, battery, tyres, oil, oil filter and some sheet metal was replaced from the bottom. In addition to the pictures I also have some videos of test drives. The car was left in original condition as much as possible, despite the new paint there are signs of wear in places. These are visible which allow the car to retain its character. Similarly the chrome work; its age is visible but it still looks nice. Technically completely in order, the engine starts straight away and the engine and gearbox work fine. Lights, windscreen wiper, heating, everything works. The car has a dormant registration and is known to the Dutch Vehicle Authority or RDW. It still requires periodic vehicle inspections en will need inspecting by the Dutch Vehicle Authority to reactivate the registration. Parts are available an can be ordered online if never necessary in the future (especially from England). If desired, I can supply a few addresses to the new owner. You could improve the car further but it is not necessary. The exhaust is made up of parts included at the time of purchase. It works well but is not original. The fuel filler cap closes but is not very smooth. You might want to replace it in due course. The previous owner replaced the front mudguards by plastic ones during the restoration.
