Honda - Super Dio 50cc - 1991 Total Km 8962 Km since restoration: zero VIN: HSC-SC01-16523 This is a true icon of the 90's. Know as one of the very first high performance scooters was actually the first if the Dio series with front disc brake. With it's small 50cc two stroke vertical air cooled engine capable of 5 HP and the CVT transmission was second to no one from a standing acceleration up to it's top speed of approx 70 Km/h. It's engine was famous for being capable of being transformed into a poor relative of a jet engine thanks to the many after market racing parts, taking this small rocket up to 140 Km/h. This example has been beautifully restored to its original specification in 2015. Total 8962 Km on the odometer, ZERO from rebuild. New bearing and seals all round. New transmission, belt, clutch, pulleys. New crankshaft, bearings, cylinder, piston and head, stock 50cc. Original engine block. The frame has been sand blasted and powder coated in glossy black. Same treatment to fuel tank and original steel wheels (hard to find). Carburetor rebuild, new cables, new brake pads and levers. All plastics have been resprayed in its original colour. Over 2800€ for restoration spent.
