Four Barong masks, these are used at one of the Balinese dances performed in Bali in Indonesia. The dance is based on the good and the evil. Barong also is the name of the king of the spirits, the leader of the forces of good in Balinese mythology. Two of approx. 27 cm wide and 25 cm long. One of approx. 34 cm long and 24 cm wide. One of 24 cm long and 23 cm wide. One Wajang Topeng Java mask, approx. 20 cm high and 16 cm wide. Wajang Topeng stands for the Javanese legends and Hinduist epics Ramayana and Mahabharata. Topeng stands for people wearing masks. The masks are in good condition, naturally, some wear and tear here and there due to the age, mainly slight damage to the paint. Not bothersome at all and it shows a charming look. The wood is undamaged. Will be carefully packaged and shipped by registered post.
